- The Menubar
- On every page within Ann Nevett Landscape Architects' web site, there is a consistent green "menubar" at the top. Within the menubar is a list of eight links; the sections within the web site.
- Sub-pages
- In certain sections (namely 'Services' and 'Expertise'), there are sub-pages. When viewing a sub-page, to view the next sub-page, you can either return to the main section page's menu, or click the 'Next' or 'Previous' links below the picture on the right-hand side of the page.
- Web Browser
-
As with all web sites, Ann Nevett Landscape Architects' must be viewed using a web browser. Although it is compatible with older browsers, its full functionality will only be experienced with the newer browser versions. Such browsers include the latest versions of:
- Java™
- Java™ allows 'mini programs' to be embedded into web pages. This web site uses Java™ to scroll text in the news and clients sections. Most modern graphicsal browsers (such as those listed above) include Java™ as standard, but may require you to specifically enable it in the program's settings.
- Plug-ins
- Plug-ins are additions to web browsers, ususally produced by independent companies, which enable additional functionality to be added to web pages. The only such plug-in used in this site is Macromedia Flash to provide the powerful animations. The latest Flash plug-in can be downloaded from Macromedia's web site.
Ann Nevett Landscape Architects' web site was designed in house, and launched at the start of December 2000. It was relaunched with its current design in July 2002.
If you have any queries, comments or suggestions about the design/content of the site, please contact the webmaster (webmaster@anla.co.uk).
