Brownfield Award Winner 2003

Ann Nevett Landscape Architects is pleased to be associated with this award having assisted Digit Site Services Ltd with the early site planning.

"This project has used an innovative approach to reclaiming a derelict brownfield site, to create a community woodland. Sewage sludge was used to regenerate poor quality soil, which was then planted with mixed woodland and grass, providing a rich habitat for a wide range of animals and birds."

Habitat Enhancement Initiative
Award Winner 2000

"An innovative and forward-looking approach taken at a local level, in advance of policy, to address the issue of inter-tidal habitat creation along the rivers Black Devon and Forth. The project also demonstrates opportunities for "managed retreat" and provides recreation potential for the local community."
